Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 April 2026

1. About BikerSpot

BikerSpot is a motorcycle service tracking application operated by Victor Benning (trading as BikerSpot). The platform provides digital motorcycle maintenance logging, fuel tracking, AI-assisted data entry, document storage, PDF export, and service history management.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use BikerSpot. Users aged 16-17 may use the service with parental or guardian consent.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Only one account per person is permitted. A valid email address is required to register. BikerSpot uses Firebase Authentication to manage user accounts.

4. Free Trial

BikerSpot offers a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No payment information is required to start your trial. After the trial period ends, your account will revert to read-only access -- you will be able to view your existing data but will not be able to add or edit records.

5. Subscription & Payment

BikerSpot offers paid subscription plans. Pricing details will be available when the app launches. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access will continue until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing cycle.

6. Your Data

You own all data you enter into BikerSpot. Your data is stored on PostgreSQL databases and Firebase Storage. Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and export (portability) your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, please contact us at bikerSpot@benning.dev.

7. AI Features

BikerSpot uses artificial intelligence to assist with data entry and provide service recommendations. AI-generated outputs are provided as guidance only and do not constitute professional mechanical advice. Data extraction by AI is performed on a best-effort basis. You are responsible for verifying all AI-processed information before saving it to your records.

8. Bike History Transfer

When you sell a motorcycle, the service history associated with that bike can be transferred to the new owner. Your personal information is not shared as part of any bike history transfer.

9. Community Content

BikerSpot maintains a shared manual library for the community. By uploading content to the shared library, you grant BikerSpot a non-exclusive licence to distribute that content to other users. You must only upload content that you have the rights to share.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Enter fraudulent data into the platform
  • Misuse or attempt to manipulate AI features
  • Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from BikerSpot by automated means
  • Share your account credentials with others

11. Limitation of Liability

BikerSpot is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content. BikerSpot shall not be held liable for any decisions made based on information provided through the platform.

12. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. BikerSpot reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

13. Changes to These Terms

We will provide at least 30 days' notice by email before any material changes to these terms take effect. Your continued use of BikerSpot after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
